| "Therefore go and
make disciples of all nations, baptizing
them in the name of the Father and of the
Son and the Holy Spirit, and teaching
them to obey everything I have commanded
you. And surely I am with you always, to
the very end of the age." Matthew

Our missions ministry is
direct support in nature. All mission
funds go directly to a specified mission
work. No agency or group outside our
local congregation makes the dicision
about how the moneys will be spent. This
means that there are no deductions for
administrative cost by such agencies. For
the most part, the Missions Ministry
selects what mission fields are to be
supported. The program is built around
home missions (local or U.S.), foreign
works, and education (Bible colleges,
campus ministries and student
assistance). In addition to these
budgeted works, there is a quarterly
program whereby offerings are received
during Bible School each Sunday. Every
quarter a work is featured and special
emphasis is given. These are sometimes
from our list of regular support; others
are chosen by the Mission Ministry from
the past works we have helped or from new
appeals for assistance. One Sunday each
quarter is set aside for the presentation
of the designated field of missions. |
